This course will enable the students to learn the practical aspects of identifying and correct application and use of swars.

Syllabus
• Swar Discription – Identifying and singing 7 shudhswar
• Raag Discription – Yaman, bhairavi,bhairav, awsari, kafi (sargam and chota khayal in every raag)
• Introduction to the shudh and vikritswar for the Yaman, bhairavi, bhairav, awsari, kafi
• Knowing the above raags with aaroh, avroh and pakad
• Taal –singing tritaal, keherva and dadra
• Bahajn/ National Song
