This course will enable the students to learn beyond the theoretical and practical aspects of the Hindustani Music, its famous personalities and advances in the subject.

Syllabus

Faculty is free to give any project as he/she may deem fit according to the issues and advances in the world of folk dances of India along with the famous artists, works and forms. The project may include anything from the study of regional instruments, details of costumes and famous artists. Students will also be motivated to see performances by various artists followed by discussion and appraisal of the same.
