Objective: 

This course will enable the students to have an advanced understanding of being on stage as an actor and the different aspects of it, analysis of productions and the art form that is physical theatre.

Oriental and Western Theatre  Practical

CO43: Assess scene work in theatre through scene construction in relation with body, property, and space.

CO44: Cultivate the actor’s relation with light, property, set, and costumes, along with a deeper understanding of improvisation and character building.

CO45: Design and develop a production through play analysis, both subjective and objective.

CO46: Devise the basics of production taking in account the motivation and inspiration, understanding character in given circumstances, and building the character.

CO47: Examine the basics of physical theatre along with details on movement and Interpretation of them, and modern movement trends that are in practice, and their pioneers.

CO48: Contribute effectively in course-specific interaction
