Objective: 

This course will enable the students to learn the practical aspects of Kathak through different expression-based compositions, advanced repertoire, complex Taal compositions, etc.

• Advanced Teentaal (16 beats cycle) - Devi/DevtaStuti, Tatkaar in Athgun, Compositions as Paran,aamad,chakkardarparan, tukde,tihaietc
• Traditional components in Kathak – Kavitta, Parmelu
• Gat Nikas - Panihariki Gat, Ghunghat kin Gat
• Introductory training in Jhaptaal (10 beats cycle) - Tatkaar (footwork), Tukde, Aamad, Padhant
• Padhant
• Recitation of all the bols learnt
