An Art Event by Awaaz Studio

A group of 26 students from The IIS University went to Maharana Pratap Auditorium for an art event held on 26th October,2018. The event was organised by "Awaaz Studio" which aims at displaying young talents of those who aim high. It gave the students a taste of performing at a professional stage. Students went there for a theatrical performance based on a short story by the great writer Munshi Prem Chandra. The play presented reality of untouchability which exists even today in India The event was a platform where young artists performed their different art forms like Kawwalli, Drama , poetry, rock music etc. Students of COSD Theatre students were second in line for their performance which started at around 6:30, which continued for 25 minutes. As per the students those 25 minutes when they were on the stage they could feel the quietude, the illuminating spots and the power of their voices which took them to another world. The huge round of applause in the end filled them with a lot of joy and gratification. The experience not only gave them the chance to outshine as a performer but also provided with a bag full of memories and hand full of unbreakable bonds. Overall, the experience has proved to be everlasting.
